Buner Operation

Hazrat Ali (RA) narrated as follows: "I heard the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) as saying that as the Day of Qiyamah approaches there will appear a group of youths with a low mental capacity and understanding, apparently they will talk of good but their Imaan will not go beyond their throat and they will leave the true Deen like an arrow leaves the prey. After a peace deal was enforced in Swat in April 2009, the Khariji-Takfiri TTP militants crossed into its adjacent Buner district, the police and local people confronted them with their armed lashkars but could not do for long. The TTP took over the district and soon started their old dirty tactics of terrorising, beheadings, kidnappings and harrassing the local population to implement their brand of Islam. On seeing their old usual ruthless and brutal behaviour the local administration and government pressurised the TTP to withdraw from the district, complying to the pressure the TTP put up an act of a fake withdrawal to show the media that they had withdrawn from the district. After realizing the deception of TTP apart from the fact that these TTP terrorists were funded from accross the border by anti-Pakistan elements, Pakistan Army started a desicive operation in the end of April 2009 to defeat the Khariji TTP. By mid of May 2009 Pak Army achieved successes and the TTP was on the run fleeing from the operation areas in garb of civil population by shaving their beards and cutting their hair.
